This consultation allows us to evaluate your pet’s current diet and provide guidance for your individual cat or dog. Cats and dogs have unique nutritional and feeding needs. Cats are obligate carnivores, requiring a high meat protein, organ meats, moderate fat, and low carbohydrate diet. Dogs are facultative carnivores, meaning they can survive on a non-carnivorous diet but often benefit from a well-balanced meal of meat proteins, fresh veggies, and low-glycemic carbs. If your appointment requires detailed guidance for foods for therapeutic needs because of a specific health issue, this may not be the right appointment for you. This option is more for new owners or for the individual seeking a better food path for a pet that does not have a medical condition.

• Review of the provided history of an individual cat or dog on diet such as quantity, quality, frequency, and developing nutritional and caloric needs from information on provided intake forms;
• Virtual or Phone meeting up to 1 hour;
• Immediate feedback on current and recommended diet modifications during the meeting;
• Written Food Advice Summary;
• Email follow-up for 1 month, limitations may apply.
• An individualized recipe is not included in this session, but will be offered at a reduced rate if requested within the month follow-up support period.
